Old Worthington Business Association

Where the Spirit of the Past Inspires the Present

The Olde Worthington Business Association is composed of businesses located in the historic downtown area. This coalition of services and the retail merchants work together with the city to promote economic growth and heighten awareness of the city's historic business district through collaborative initiatives that maintain and enhance its customer base. OWBA sponsors events, in cooperation with the city, that carry on traditions of the 19th century.

Every Saturday morning from May through October the sidewalks are lined with farmers marketing their produce, plants and foodstuffs during our traditional Farmers Market.  Plant Fest coincides with the first Farmers market of the season, Mothers Day weekend in May. The third weekend in June the green is crowded with artists exhibiting their original handiwork during the annual Worthington Art Festival.  In July we have Treasures on the Green, an antique, collectibles and flea market event. Join us the second Saturday in October for our family friendly Fall Fest. The Sunday following Thanksgiving is our traditional Holiday Open House which is followed by the city's annual Christmas Tree Lighting event. Illuminating Shopping is always the first Thursday in December, where you can shop late, enjoying wine and snacks while strolling amid glowing luminaries. Our indoor Winter Farmers market is held in the Griswold center most Saturdays, late November thru April. And you can always enjoy all of our wonderful specialty shops and eateries lining Historic High Street.
